We all know Instagram is a data sucking app with its high resolution video playing quality and photos. Instagram has released a new feature called Data Saver to help you minimize cellular data on the app.
This feature is currently available to all mobile devices such as; iPhone, Android, IOS, etc.
The new data-saving feature on Instagram will neither pre-load the photos and videos nor download them at high resolution unless the users choose to tap on select ones. This gives users greater control over the media they would like to view on the app and also saves the data, which is the primary focus of this feature. Apart from this, with the feature turned on, the chosen photos and images will load faster since all the media is not being downloaded.
HOW TO ENABLE DATA SAVING MODE ON INSTAGRAM

- Update your Instagram app
- Go to your Profile tab
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Account > Cellular Data Use
- Under Use Less Data, toggle on Data Saver.
